Designed by Hollandia Produce LLC, this clamshell contains a head of butter lettuce, along with the produce’s roots, keeping things as fresh as possible. The clamshell design is described as a “squircle,” and is positioned as having “the best features of both a square and a circle to create the ultimate package…” Whether or not this is the “ultimate package,” it is nonetheless a tidy and handsome presentation of a thoroughly unique product.
