In an effort to make a dent in the massive collection of waste floating in the Pacific known as the ‘Great Pacific Garbage Patch,’ cleaning products maker Method has brought to life a bottle using some of the epic GPGP waste.
Composed entirely of recycled plastic, the Dish/Soap bottles intended for a November release only take 10% of their plastic from the Garbage Patch. However, with a large-scale production scheduled, that 10% could end up doing more good than at first seemed possible.
